Bravestar Group is led by Managing Director and founder, John Meredith.

John is an experienced leader in the Australian real estate sector with unique national expertise across development, investment and asset management, acquisitions, capital markets and corporate strategy, both for multinational institutional corporates, global fund managers and UHNW private capital.

Prior to launching Bravestar Group, John was the inaugural Head of Fiveight and its Chief Investment Officer. Fiveight is the dedicated real estate investment development and hospitality company owned by Tattarang. John led the business from inception to become a national investor and developer across all major asset classes, built a capable and strong team of professionals across development, asset management, investment and management, and created an emerging portfolio of iconic assets and projects.

John has acquired, developed and managed assets and projects of scale across every major asset class (including office, industrial, retail, hotels and residential) in Australia. His prior experience includes senior roles with multinational groups such as Lendlease and Morgan Stanley, domestic REITs Mirvac and Stockland, and private investment management with Property Bank Australia.

Most recently John has served as Division Councillor with the Property Council of Australia (WA Division), and is on the Advisory Panel for Curtin University’s Property School.
